Webinar Overview

What portion of the decisions you make at work are emotional vs rational?
Most people say 20% or less. To some, the number might be 100% as everything could be decided emotionally and then people spend time justifying these logically.
This is because we are all emotional beings and cannot leave these emotions at home. Accepting and dealing with its ramifications can be invaluable to you and your workplace.

Daniel Goleman found that 67% of all competencies deemed essential for high performance were related to Emotional Intelligence (“EQ”). Also, one’s EQ mattered twice as much as one’s IQ for this high performance.
This ‘taster’ session will briefly cover:

  • What is Emotional Intelligence (EQ)?
  • Which three emotional capacities form the foundation of all skills and competencies?
  • Why is EQ important at work?
  • How does low EQ show up at work?
  • How can one develop EQ?
